Does anyone know where the get revenge button is, and are we attacking random towns, when we press the button with the sword and axe, because these towns don't look familiar to me. Oh wait is that the revenge button? I'm going back and try it.
Found the answer to the revenge button, tap the castle that's been invaded. But still don't know if its random towns.
Revenge button is a red button, click the house/building
In terms of the sword/axe icon, it takes you to a RANDOM town, not necessarily a neighbor's town. Haven't recognized the ones I went to. If a random town visits and attacks you, click the revenge button to go to their town.
The only buildings that can be attacked are HOUSES or the CASTLES.shasurveyi256 wrote:

Me? I've downloaded the update, and fast forwarded the first quest, the building, and this what I uncovered. Since I can visit random towns and they can visit me, I got people that attacked me already. The revenge thing takes me to their town.
So I'm in your town and don't see the castle? Am I just missing it? The only attackable house is the Muntz House. Not sure what I should be doing here.
Is this another even where we are going to want to put certain things at the landing zone?
Castle is in my new strip of land at the bottom. You can only attack houses. (my houses are top right - well the bulk of them are)shasurveyi256 wrote:

You said above houses and castles, but below only house. The only house that is available on yours is Muntz. Is that because the others have been cleared or under attack by someone else you think?
Yeah was only out of the game for 30 minutes.. yikes lots of random visitors then. I cleared them all now.GamerGD3 wrote:
Okay, I don't know the prizes, but first prize is Barbarian Homer and Homer Barbarian (200 gold)
Second prize looks like Lisa skin next to the second castle (seems to be 3 castles)
Third prize a box of some sort
Fourth Bart skin with a castle
5th appears to be a character or NPC
6th is a truck
7th is a balloon
8th is fancy castle walls or buildings
9th is catapult
10th (final) is 2 banners and a statue of homer?
No amounts are given unless you use donuts.
Nerds are like a currency. You use them to attack neighbors. You get nerds from your castles (unless you reach max - then you won't get any)
There's also a random town visitor button - can attack random neighbors - and those that aren't neighbors.
You can defend against attacks by clicking on the shield. Then it allows you to visit that neighbor/stranger and attack them back right away.
Thanks :wink:Jblue8298 wrote:

I also saw that, so perhaps the person's town you were in they squished the nerds? Not entirely sure how that works out. I had a few buildings destroyed completely already so not sure how that happened so fast unless they spend all of their nerds. Not sure if it's better to drop 1, or drop more than 1. Seeing as only the castle generates more and it's only 10.. they can be emptied on 1 attack...
I have no idea strategy-wise how to play the update. I think there is a limit of 5 attacks per day? And the castle generates x nerds per x hours, depending on upgrades. I'm also not sure how to be neighborly in this update (attacking vs defending), or if it's even possible to be neighborly.
I like this update though. I always thought of playing clash of clans, but never really got around to it. Now we can play it Simpsons-ified :D
I think it's best for 1 nerd per building - they seem to empty quick. So with 10 that's 2 neighbors worth :). You get 5 attacks per neighbor, each attack requires 1 nerd. You can only hold a max of 40 nerds after the first upgrade, so 8 neighbors. Right now I'm draining mine on the revenge thing.- Attackers can be stopped by the red cheaters die. Frink invented it. You can use it to protect your town or to totally destroy a building in another town.
My first time through I tapped all the shields before realizing that once you move on you lose the ability to get revenge. It's time consuming. Tap a shield, click revenge, go to that town, wreak havoc, tap to return to your town and repeat. It will take forever if you're wanting revenge on everyone, every time.
The more nerds you use on a building, mthe faster the building is destroyed and the more elixor you get. If your attack is stopped you get far less. As the event goes on you will accumulate more nerds as they finish training. I think it's 10 nerds per hour or 2. - ZennGlennRising Newcomer

Chili Cook off would have been better. Could have got Space Coyote, Lunch Lady Doris, pro shop, pyramid, etc. Insanity peppers as currency, chili cook off stands for Frink (virtual chili) Flanders (5 alarm chili) etc.
Well, just starting this 48 day battle ordeal & certainly glad to have some sort of big update... it definitely seems to be good dirty fun / exciting & creative mayhem puns on Thrones & Clans & I'm cool w/ it, but will somewhat agree that actual Simpsons content is abundant & am a bit surprised they didn't go w/the Chilicookoff as well, which could have certainly fit here at this time of year... Guess in the BIG picture they can continue to save things like that then for years to come & a possible sign they are indeed looking to maintain S.T.O. for a looong time just like the show 8) shasurveyi256 wrote:

So I found my revenge button---You have to tap on your castle to see it?
It's on any house or castle that was attacked (destroyed or has a shield). Tap the building and it's below the timer info.shasurveyi256 wrote:

But can the attacks can be interrupted by shields? So 1 nerd is the longest time for attack, and maybe least likely to get the full reward?
Hmmm.....Interesting
Yes it shows a shield if the house is under siege. It show's the building icon if it was destroyed. So using more nerds per building gets a higher reward, but then it's less neighbors to attack. So I think it depends how often the neighbor attacks. Not sure if it's best to spread the wealth of attacks (multiple per town), or if it's best to wreck destruction by using up all 10 nerds per building (max).- My castle is still building, so this is a bit premature ... But do we visit our regular neighbors in addition to the attacks to and from random hooligans? Or is that system replaced for now?
If houses are the only targets, do they need to be regenerated on their regular schedule eg, 8 he's for a blue house, or ... annettemarc wrote:

Regular neighbor visit taps ar definitely separate from the attacks. Not sure about what makes a building attackable or how long it takes to regenerate.
