Classic Mini Events

I hope if they do, they either add some new ones or do totally different ones. I started playing in May of last year, so I hadn't done any of them originally, but having two full rounds to complete them was more than enough time for me (and I'm sure plenty of time for those who only needed to complete one or two of them).

At one point, it seemed like Crook and Ladder was going to be part of the list and Pinpals was rumored too. Springfield Games would also be nice (although I think that's HIGHLY unlikely since Fatov will be available for donuts in about a month, eliminating the need to get the final prize).

There is a bad glitch going around where they do come back. You don't want it.

Yes pray that you don't get that glitch.

Right, no one wants that glitch, obviously. That said, the glitch has little to nothing to do with the intent of the OP. Anyone care to comment on the first post instead of yet another thread becoming overrun by glitch talk?

Glitch issue aside, I really enjoyed the classic mini events and hope that there are many more to come. I’ve had a space reserved downtown for the fire station for about two years now so… PLEASE!

Crook and Ladder is going to be difficult because it had a FV mechanic. Unless we are forced to commit self-arson or use OS as our kindling.

I'd be more than happy with just the items then. I can live without doing the event :)

Friend Visit. You had to go to your neighbor Springfields and douse fires, and also set them by tapping on a matchstick icon that indicated a "flammable" building.

The friend visits are why I've always assumed that Crook & Ladder wasn't part of the original group despite the rumors. I wouldn't be surprised if EA planned to include it and then couldn't figure out how to do the visits, so it was scrapped. The easiest solution seems to be to just eliminate that component and reduce the goals accordingly, but that'd still require some minor reprogramming, so I don't see it happening.
