About neighbourly visits and roads; I can see why big and/or well designed towns wouldn't want to change their town outlay just for an event. I'd rather enjoy looking at a nice town and spend a couple of seconds extra to find those wandering gamblers.
Then there are towns like my own: Almost an eyesore but practical. I keep a road strip or two next to my event area which I'll design a bit. This way neighbours have an easier way finding and tapping gamblers. My characters are far away from this area (Akira's 1h/She-She 4h/Railyard tasks) so visitors won't experience lag.
I do wish people would put their landing zone near a road. Got some neighbours who put Burns' Casino left top of the map and the roads are varying from middle of the map to right top/down. This gets pretty time consuming when visiting.
During the Terwilligers event visits were quick due to the enormous tap radius which would almost always hit 2 and sometimes 3 cloned Bobs'... However, I don't think EA will be too fond of implementing this mechanic again :roll:
