Clearing debris
They usually go for the debris thats closest to where they are standing at the time. Hope that helps.

I've seen a similar comment/warning elsewhere and it begs the question: is there any reason to keep some debris, other than, say, making a slum more slum-like?
I kept some of the green slime stuff for in my Halloween/cemetery area.
