Booo urns to EA

It's a no from me.

You use the same email and password on AHQ as you do here, to connect to your EA account.
The first time it'll send you a security code - just checked with my C town profile.
I keep cookies for EA so if I need to log in again with my A town profile on AHQ I just hit the button and wait for it to read the cookie and sign me in. Simples ?

I already have an answershq account, but we are losing a lot. The community we have here will no longer exist but be mixed in with all the posts about issues people are having. The badges etc some of us are proud of appear to be gone on the new site.
Guess ill wait and see what happens afyer the migration but so far this appears to be end of an era.
Looking in the general discussion section the posts are all from 2013. Hope this gets sorted by Nov 13.......

Posting off topic will probably best fit General Discussion ...
PS - they're still in the process of moving stuff, so I'd keep using here while it's open. They are looking into moving the info to sort badges etc. but as the announcement said it won't include images so save any pics you might want to keep or to upload on AHQ later.

Wow! I hope they migrate all of our work here. I liked using this site as an archive. Sad day...

This is a sad announcement. They should probably leave the site accessible

That's good to know. The transition is bound to have bumps in the road. I hope the boards will keep the family feel that is here, but in some part its up to the users to accept that the move is happening, and to try to make the new site our own. The only problem I see with pics not transferring are some of the guides that people put hours and hours into.
What about our moderators....are they moving too? Hate to lose them.

@Willy9292 - pretty sure John is set up and ready for it, but dunno about @Deadshot_DCU. You'll also see a handful of Heroes on there, including me, that can help with mis-placed posts or spam - but we're not Mods and don't have the authority for bans and the like. You may see a few from the EA Community Team too, like Cade who posted the announcement.
@168sean168 - it'll be usable for about a month then on Nov 13th you can read but not post - that gives you a chance to grab anything you want to save. It will not be accessible from Dec. 13th, sorry :(
