Collect 8,000 gold, and receive ... 1,000 elixir?? Wth?

I can confirm the above. 8,000 coins for 1,000 elixir. Plus if you go over the 8k you don't get credit for the rollover coins. You start again at 0. Going to see if the next 8k in coins results in ...

Yeah I'm really not interested in putting in the effort after getting the statue. I'll keep my pace when I can. Neighbors can continue to abuse my houses. I wont defend them. But I dont care what I gather from now on. Not enough for me.
