Surely the 5 billion is just the first community prize level? Once everyone is obtaining goo it will be hit in no time.

I dunno there is a donut prize for every 2000 goo after the 10,000 mark. So depending on how many donuts that is worth the slowdown might be less

That was my impression. Given that there's only the 5 billion benchmark and none for each prize, I assumed the 5 billion was for the first prize, and each subsequent prize would be another 5 billion (or more).

If that's the case it'll be tough to complete them all (considering a minimum of 25 billion total needed by Nov 7). That averages to just under 658 million per day, which seems more realistic once everyone who plays starts collecting regularly.

We'll see. But I doubt they'll have made it as easy as 5 billion given the amount collected in less than a day.
