I think it's theses mistakes that make EA their profit  but I agree it should be default and also fix the issue when it turns it back off after updates :evil:AJtheboss1 wrote:

it's like they hid in on purpose... most games options menu are easier to see this game has a tiny icon icon for options that most don't even know is there.- I started playing TSTO during Halloween 2013 and I accidentally bought 12 bombs for 20 donuts because I did not know the confirmation option then.
- They hide it on purpose and leave it off on purpose. Why? People hit thing on accident while scrolling through the menus and spend them and they COUNT on that

that's why we should be requesting for it to be a default setting, so they can't count on people wasting doughnuts that they potentially spent money on.
if someone accidentally wastes 60 doughnuts on a krustyland mascot (my friend has done this) they are losing $5 worth of doughnuts- In EA's defense this option did not always exist, I believe it was implemented last May.
However to the posters point, once set it should not be changed unless the player changes it. EA should have no problem making it yes by default since they give the option to turn it off when the confirm message appears. (That should satisfy that 1 superrich player who doesn't want to be bothered by the message) datasurgeon wrote:

Don't know how many donuts I wasted when rapidly collecting from houses/stores and accidentally speeding one up before the "confirm spend" option. My reaction time to hit "cancel" sucked. Yes, this should definitely be a default and more prominent.- yes
hit the tool button
hit the small I in the upper right corner

You lost me already. This option is hidden in the game options?
the options menu is a tiny i icon that's in the buildings tab.. someone new to the game might not even know that's the options.
besides if they don't know you can change to confirm the spend there is little reason to use the games options.- I agree, I've lost several doughnuts this way. It's really the only complaint I have about the game (well that and that doughnuts are so hard to come by:)).
