the options menu is a tiny i icon that's in the buildings tab.. someone new to the game might not even know that's the options.
I certainly didn't, at first. Most games I play have a little cog or something to denote options, not a lowercase italic letter
i. I had to look up how to get the options for this game. Fortunately, I only wasted a dozen donuts or so.
(I've seen players posting here who seem completely unable to find it from descriptions. I've literally made an infographic of a big arrow pointing to the little "i" on a menu screenshot I found.)
