I find it flattering, so long as it isn't, like, an exact copy of my entire town or something. But yeah, if someone thinks one of my ideas is good enough to copy, they should have at it.

If I see something in another person's town that I like and I can incorporate in my town, then I do and have always found it flattering if anyone else did the same.

I take inspiration from other towns if I like the design. But most of the things I design myself

I tend to borrow inspiration from other towns. I usually don't copy anything piece for piece. I have one area that's really close, but I haven't gotten any complaints from the person I borrowed from. I have no problems if someone wants to copy something of mine, either. It's more flattering than anything.

I remember someone that posted a lont time ago about someone that copied their town 1:1. Thar just wrong. But pieces? Why not.
