Geez looking at that design makes me want to buy the Rock.
I don't mind if people copy my designs but I always feel sheepish when I "borrow" from someone else.

it is also a multiplier go for it! i am planning to change it around with the regalian queen and other moving props. :P

Actually, we get all these new items and I'm totally blank on what to do with them until I see what others have done. I don't copy exactly, but my neighbors do give me ideas.

I have happily stolen a few ideas from friends and forum peeps alike..... And I too find it quite flattering when I scroll through a friend and find something that seems familiar........ It's a neat thing to have someone like your thought enough to copy it.

But yeah, not everything........ That's creepy stalker

it's a game i don't care if someone copies anything in my town or if i do the same to someone elses

don't know why someone would copy a whole town though just take elements of it or change it up a bit but it's not like you can do something about it if someone does copy the town 100%

I definitely take ideas from my friends towns. But then again, they're all so creative. So it's not my fault. :P
And I don't mind at all when someone takes one of my ideas. But indeed, as someone said above, it's really creepy if someone copies your town 1:1. Feels like stalking to me.

I dont mind designs being copied but coping entire town bush for bush, not so much!

I don't mind even in the slightest. If someone wanted to make the enormous economic effort to copy my town pixel-by-pixel, then more power to them! (And it certainly isn't any kind of "copyright" issue, legally.)

That said, my prison design is nearly entirely taken from Neuro's!

If you are copying an entire town, that would be bad form... but really who has the time for that?

Copying elements of towns is to be expected though. I copied the nerd "death ring" idea from a neighbor for Clash of the Clones, although have since moved this to Krustyland.

Sometimes you see things that are too good not to mimic.
