I have Abe and Jasper but no cryo chamber and I didn't get a prompt for a questline. I've no idea why this popped for you. Probably a glitch.

I have kwik fresh but not Jay. So I have a undoable task as well.

I wonder if the items and/or characters popping up with quests indicates some of this stuff will be made available for purchase later on during this mini-event?

I got the same thing and have the same problem...no Jay!!! I thought he was going to be available, he is one of the few characters I dont have.
