I had the same thing happen to me, various Van Houten tasks for the daily challenge. Except Millhouse and co didn’t actually have the task it wanted so the game froze.
There were only two characters on the list that had the tasks that could be completed. So frustratingly it took longer to complete than it should have.
This has happened to me a couple of times now.
