Daily task dry spell

Tied with this, I found that after buying Jesse I seemed to hit a streak of donut producing DC's. Again I have no idea if it's linked in some way, but maybe, just maybe it is?

Possibly related to reading skipping tasks, but anecdotal evidence here on the forums suggests that skipping isn't necessarily detrimental. In fact the only two 1-donut tasks I got were skippers!

And I also got Jesse right away. Whereas he appears to be your lucky charm, for me (if anything) it has been just the opposite.
