Presumably permanent. No way would so many shops and characters be issued at once and have it be LE. Especially if this is coming sooner than later. EA would be mad to run two LE events so close together.

It's a love hate. I love the content, but I hate devoting so many hours a day to whacking snakes just so I can assure myself that I'll have it all unlocked.

If there's another content update coming, I say bring it on!

But here's the thing: we could be talking as many as five or six shops in the Squidport, each with a quest involved. That is a LOT of time to sink into the game. There is also the Dutchman which I suddenly got a horrible feeling will be premium, since EA knows people will want the Captain.

Sad thing is, as nervous ad I am about it, I'm almost gleeful about expansion too, especially if it equals new stuff for the characters to do and stores to boost revenue.

This is awesome. And I agree, I say bring on more content. As long as it's not limited time so we don't have to run out and buy donuts right away, I'm all for the more, the better. I knew they had to be saving that land by the water for something, wasnt sure if it was gonna be for Springfield Beach, but the Squidport Boardwalk is just as cool. Between this and the Kamp Krusty stuff in the files, looks like summer is going to be very busy even without the episode tie-ins. Super excited for Captain Mcallister and the Frying Dutchman also.

The port taking place near the water that's already there in the game is just speculation on my part ... I hope that's what will happen though, so I won't need to buy at least 5 chunks of land just for it.

I wish they did a promo which cut the actual donut price when you use donuts to buy a premium item.

The last time they did this promo it wasn't technically a sale. The prices for donuts was the same but you were given 25% more donuts in each tier.
