I'm an Android user who only started playing in March.
I do often get that feeling, wanting old limited-time items and wish I had started playing earlier, or I had an Apple device. but I also think that it's unfair if I could get limited time items after the promo period.
but since I really want them, I think it would be fair for EA to repeat the promotions every year. for example in December 2013 they should do the Christmas promotion again and allow "new players" to get the limited items that were sold in December 2012 during the Christmas promotion. same for Valentine, Whacking Day, etc... but they should still add new items each year so people who have played for more than a year don't get bored.
