Hardcore Builder - Devastated by Item Limit :(

That's right. You heard me. I'm not like some of the folks that are out there on the internet, placing buildings randomly with few decorations around it or throw everything into a clutter of stuff into one place. Not that I have something against those people, only that I want to show that are others who can go beyond normal building.

In the recent years I always dreamed of a game where I can place any object where I want, anywhere, how I want it and I finally found Tapped Out. I'm closing to 2 years of playing and since then I never felt so refreshed from a very long time since Sim City 4 existed. I also found my point of relaxation, energy recovery and mind, my imagination expanded and got better at this like how it used to be, but now I put my brain to work, feeling much better since I'm with Tapped Out.

In one year, last year, I visited 70% of America via Google Street View, every street, I took every corner only because I wanted to build something that how America and Australia looks. I do love the American designs when it comes to the aspect of their cities; making a building, making parking lots, building fences, decorating the hole place with nature, benches, making entrances around the building, the usual standard with good quality, standards that are respected in most states, the entire Florida state, Phoenix city, Las Vegas, Seattle, Hawaii, and many other places that are truly unbelievable beautiful. My Springfield was inspirited by these locations, but since the mechanics of the game in terms of placement is different I had to come up with my own version of how to place them.

Beautiful graphics that look so close to our real modern buildings, facades, decorations, hardly you find any game that is out there right now is why I connect with this game so much because of these brilliant & talented people of EA working together with the creators of the Cartoon Tv-Series for this ongoing 5 year game. However the Tapped Out needs to be drastically changed in terms of item limit and possible space too, to be increased in each event twice than how it used to be. The game has evolved into something that few games can keep up monthly, bringing new content, larger, bigger, beautiful objects, but it feels that the game struggles on how it can keep up with the content. I'm feeling the game does not breathe enough. It remained a bit, just a bit to those same conditions from 3-4 years ago.

I do appreciate the team for adding the newest 300 items for 10k limit, but to me it only helped for a short time to refill missing architecture I need it to add at a specific building if I was waiting for the next item limit increase. I haven't forgot to thank you for the recent space that was added on both sides from the previous events, but now I can't do much with it other than to place the buildings since my item limit is reached. I also put together buildings from two, up to five building to form a center but I still reached the limit.

I cannot place.
- monorail because they are counted as item limit.
- street lights because too many it goes into item limit.
- can't place trees around my buildings (you can notice that in some images, the green, dirt places are empty)
- I cannot make Springfield Heights because of item limit.
- I cannot make Springfield Squidport because of the limit.

This is how people build or EA is expending for us to building our own Springfield.

Something like this.

NO!

But because they give us so much freedom in placing objects, this is how it should look like and this is something which I had to redecorate over 1 year old land that I was too late to move or expand.

And this is how my Springfield looks like. I prefer to come up with a new design for each buildings.

Look how awful my Springfield Height and SquirdPort looks like.

I couldn't focus on these two to decorate because I had to focus on the main building with characters included to make my Springfield easy to access and view.

At least to me, I consider to raise the bar to another 5000 item limit, but I would go to to 10k. Squirdport is huge now and it stretches massively. For what good reason is to place boardwalks if I cannot place wooden fences around it and other items related to Squirdport if the wooden fences cost item limitation.

The game is 5 years old and so far objects and events where added to it over time. Did you see the game being unstable ? Does the game not running or it won't start, infinite loop loading ? No! So why would you wait for another 5 years to reach 20k item limit ? So far the game is running stable, actually really good. I don't see crashing other than a drops of FPS in some places. Even better once I notice that if I put building from a long distance between them, the FPS increases rather than in my Springfield Heights where the clutter pile makes some serious FPS loss. Why not now instead in time ? Do they believe that year after year their programing becomes better, the version of the game becomes much stable, more FPS increase, our tablets and phones will be more sophisticated ? I don't see that could be the reasons if it work well in these 5 years.

What you Tappers think of this ? What you EA think of this ?
