The longer this goes on -- with some people rushing the task with donuts, some storing Brandine, and the rest doing neither -- the more problematic the solution becomes. Since there's no longer a one-size-fits-all fix to this issue, I doubt EA will ever offer a solution or even officially acknowledge the problem.
I'm still holding out, though. And the one thing I'm not going to do is spend donuts.
I guess the only "good" thing that came out this mess for me is that it strengthened my resolve to never spend another dime on this game. After Islandgate and now Branghazi, I've learned my lesson...
...for a few weeks at least! Depends on what cool, limited-time stuff comes up next.
