I've been able to get 3 every 15 on occasion by doing KL visits just after the 15 minute mark. Can't repeat it with confidence though, so normally it's the 3 every 30. But just in case I visit KL all the time now :).

the other thing I do that i'm 80% sure is making them spawn every 15 min is that each time i check into my town, i go to the neighbors screen, then come back to my town, then neighbors screen, then town again

thank god, no.

initially, the elf spawn was generous and I was home without much to do, so i got lots of elves out of it. at some point when i decided i wanted to catch barry, i started setting timers for the cannon before i lost interest. Now i still log in frequently enough throughout the day to get max elves. Having to play another time waster (FG) helps.

Barry is not even playing anymore and he's still ahead of me on Elves fired. Although I've kept him as a friend and was able to tap his cave and canon today so I think he's sneaking in and just doing the important X-mas stuff.

(He's adding roads. Shhh. Don't want him to hear us.) I tapped his Simpson house today, but someone *cough*john*cough* apparently got the cannon and the cavdoohattun.

It has worked for me the majority of time. I am saving elves right now because I am only 39 away from the next cannon level which gives out 6 bells per elf. I have 65 saved up right now. I lost 12 because I had the same issue with the handshake beneath the fuse.

My dilemma is that the cannon won't fire enough elves. I've been hovering around 300 this entire segment. The first few days were rough with the cannon taking forever, felt like I was only tapping elves. I also had a few days of firing the cannon like twice. Even with a level 11 cannon, still at like 270 elves with some more to clear.

Sometimes. I've been spending the week with the significant other and his cat. Kitty likes to wake me up early in the morning, and we're often up late because we're night owls. So I'm firing the cannon a lot.

Swear to God I thought that said you were spending the week in his car.

I do believe Barry has been back. I tapped the cannon as well------and a few things seemed moved around, too.
