Disappearing castle walls glitch??!!! :((((

I just opened a ticket and i will wait for a response, but i fear they will simply ignore it...
I once opened a ticket before and i never got a reply of any kind...
it was for some missing donuts, it was luckily a small amount, but none the less i was pissed off...
anyhow, i guess i should just let it go as it is merely a game... :?

Really appreciate the warning OP. Sorry you are having trouble and hope you get a good respone from EA.

There is a glitch but the extra walls u bought really riding cost u any elixirs. In my inventory, I already had extra walls. When I bought more and place them on my SF (at the same time), I thought I was getting a deal (10 walls for 100 elixirs). But in fact, the extra walls was taking out of my inventory and placed on my SF. I was really only charged one.

Well in the end i got a response from EA and to make it up for me they gave me 20 cardboard walls and also 15 donuts!
Yaaaaaaaay EA!!!!

I am so happy i did contact them about it!!!!

This glitch is also affecting the Medieval Banner, I only know for sure it's affecting the banner that costs elixir because I haven't bought and stored the others. But I lost something like 9 banners before I noticed it. I can find no fix for this glitch so I'm keeping them all out and hoping the glitch gets fixed when the event ends.

Wow, this is horrible! I guess you can only buy them as you intend to use them, to be safe. This is event is very glitchy!! I have only seen a few castle designs that I really truly liked. A few mixed all of the castles together, with a concrete base and the cobblestone walls that looked good. I am still trying to figure out if I even want to work this into my an overall permanent part of town, and if so, how to make that look good. In general, I usually save decorations like this, and work with them later. But I will just leave everything out to be safe, until I feel truly inspired to design.

Nopes, the ones i lost were the elixir bought ones, but they compensated me for the loss with cardboard ones...!!!!
So in reality they gave me 40 donuts worth of walls plus 15 donuts!

What i did in the end is i used an empty not very visible area at the edge of my Springfiled to store all the extra castle walls, towers and gates i bought with my left over elixir after finishing the event's quests...

I am hoping once the event is over and a new update comes i can safely store all that surplus in my inventory!

well the disappearing walls glitch is still alive tho...
i just tried to store some of my castle walls (the barbarian castle ones) and they still disappear after 15 i saved 15 and when i tried to save the 16th and 17 the counter was still at 15 and i was out of 2 walls...
so to all you playing and buying, if you are stocking up keep them in your town, don't try to store them to inventory or you will lose them... :?

glad I found this thread. Had 4 (purple) castle walls in inventory. Bought 10 more just to store. 6 total in inventory. Not 14. WTF? closed game shut down device and restarted. Still just 6 walls. placed them, then put them back in inventory so I know they're there and usable. But is 6 the limit?

When I was buying the 10 add'l, I would purchase and put right in inventory. Mistake? Would like to get them back, but not sure it's worth opening a ticket. Just don't want to buy any more if they can't be saved. Can anybody verify a workaround? Buying. Placing. THEN putting in inventory? Does that work?`

The glitch is still there and it seems all the elixir purchased items are vulnerable to it, if i was you i would open the ticket.
I got 20 cardboard walls (they are 2 donuts each) as a replacement for my lost regular walls and also they re-credited me some donuts i had opened a ticket about like 3 months ago and they had ignored...
the worst thing that can happen if you open the ticket is they give you a replacement of the same item you lost which is not bad, and who knows they might give you something extra like they did for me!
since then i have kept all my elixir bought extras on a not so visible part of my town and i will only store them once the event is over and the glitch is gone...
it is only a few more days anyway...
