Disappointed with the lack of new content

I like the blizzard effect.

The November and December updates have been super lame this year! I usually look forward to getting all they have to offer, but this year has been very disappointing.

I was thinking the same thing. For those of us who are long time players, there's very little. It is nice for newer players who have a chance to get all the returning content, though.

Agreed. The building skins and characters are nice additions, but the buildings and decorations are pretty underwhelming.

As a long time player, I'm very happy with the content lately. My expectations are set very low though, because what the heck should a reasonable person expect from a game still going 10 years.

Love the facades and blizzard. Glad the game is still around.

I love the snow effects for this event and have always enjoyed updating buildings with the seasonal facades, plus there isn’t any pressure to find new land as there’s been little real new content. On the downside though, there isn’t a single item in my mystery box which I would actually want for my town.

Agreed. Been playing this game since the beginning, and I’ve enjoyed this event. I’m not sure what they could do differently that would dazzle anyone, so I keep my expectations low and just have fun with it.

The idea to keep “expectations low” is setting such a low standard for this game. This game is one of my favorites and I have been playing from the start. Now by saying that I’m not over here expecting the most or anything, but at the same time just because a game has been around for 10 years isn’t an excuse to not get creative with the content.
The Simpson show it self has been around for 30 some years and still manages to bring new seasons with 22 episodes.
So I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect something more then a blizzard effect and façades.
Examples being:
Buildings you can add attachments to
nature stuff like mini forests
Lakes and ponds
I can go on and on with stuff they could add. I’m not ignoring what they have already done but more would be better then less.
