Do not ever tap squidport entrance with floating tile when visiting friends!!

Hope EA fixes this mess. To progression of building these tiles are less to he desired.

Some of you are saying it is sealing tiles. Is it really stealing meaning you get the tile in your inventory or just deleting a tile?

I had a handshake and did not get the tile. Came onto this forum seeking answers and I confirmed this is indeed a serious problem.
So don't click on the Tile, as the neighbor loses it. Very frustrated that I have lost a tile considering the time in getting each valuable tile.

I know winstonrhodes has a thread about this below, but I figured it's good to have one with the message in the title so everyone sees it.

If you click on the tile at the squidport entrance in a neighbor's town, they will then see the handshake (like any other tapped building). But they will NOT receive the tile. They have to restart it, loosing the money, and more importantly all the hours it took to wait for it.

It wouldn't as they have to actively start the next tile cycle (like channel6 or farm). So even if they fix it it wouldn't really help. Just prevent the loss of the tile.

This should be bumped. I wish I had seen this before hitting two tiles tonight! Now I feel bad! :oops:

For anyone who had the handshake and didnt get their tile- when you went to rebuild the tile was it at the same length of time to rebuild or did the time progress just as if you had gotten the tile? Thanks for any responses.z

I can confirm 100% that if you tap on squidport entrance/tiles in a neighbours town they will only receive XP and randomly a small amount of cash!! Tested this on 5 towns with friends and it has done the same each time nothing given but XP and randomly maybe cash.

So DO NOT tap on neighbours squidport entrance/tiles!!!!
