Do you ever pay real life money to get donuts?

I only buy donuts during Gil sales. When the come along, I normaly go for the Store Full. The next one might even Boatload.

I have only bought donuts a few times in the past year when I received iTune cards as gifts. My husband and I splurged during the last Gil sale and each bought a boatload of donuts. I only buy what I really like and I don't always get limited time items or feel the need to "complete sets" of characters.

I bought a dozen donuts one time because I made a stupid mistake and wasted about that many rushing a task. I was saving up for Bumblebee Man, and as I got close to having enough for him, it started really hurting me that I didn't have those eleven donuts, so I replaced them.
Now, throughout the course of Halloween, I've gotten over 100 just for playing :D

I paid for a scratcher, got 12 donuts..but I clicked back while they were being shot to the bank and I lost them. Note to self: be patient enough to get them actually deposited before clicking the back button. What is a Gil sale?

Waaaaaaaaay too much. I've bought at least 11 boatloads. In about 4 months. It's ricockulous.

I just spent my donuts on Otto now I want the bad dream house :-( I guess I should buy some more
