I wouldn't call it a major holiday. It's just a government holiday where some people get off work and there's a parade here and there. I'd say it's more of an intermediate holiday, somewhere between 4th of July and Flag Day.
Memorial Day is a holiday where Americans commemorate the men and women who lost their lives serving in the armed forces.- Well, it's Memorial Day now, I don't see any update. :(
- Hopefully! :-D

Yes, I know what it is.

Well, it is nice to remember the victims, but it is not a major holiday...- At least it's not an international holiday like Easter and Mother's day when we were last hoping for gift...

Anyway, this is how I'd classify US holidays (not necessarily in order):
Major:
New Years
Christmas
Thanksgiving
Independence Day
Halloween
Hannukah
-----
Intermediate:
Easter
Martin Luther King Day
Valentine's Day
Memorial Day
-----
Minor:
Veteran's Day
Labor Day
Father's Day
Mother's Day
Saint Patrick's Day
Fixed it for you- Now seems a good time to inform you that tomorrow (May 27th) is the "Welttag des Purzelbaums":
The international somersault day. :D
And I certainly expect an adequate gift from EA... richardaca969 wrote:

Hope not, I'm not keen on US centric story lines.
You mean like the game based on a tv show set in America you play?
A TV show set in America, but has an international audience. :)
I myself didn't know it was Memorial Day in the US until I read the very touching post on tstoaddicts. I guess I learn something new every day.- We're probably not going to get anything major until July 4th or the Independence Day mini event. If they have an expansion we might get it in June or after July 4th. I don't remember how they did it last year. I think Squidport came first, but I might be wrong. Feel free to correct me.
