Does anyone not use the monorail?

I wanted the monorail in the game. I looked forward to it and was glad when it showed up. After using it for a while, though, I just found it to be more trouble than it was worth. Hard to integrate and a real pain to move when an ever-expanding Springfield required it. So now it sits in storage, communing with assorted npc's, ugly buildings and useless event crafted items. It was a worthy experiment and I'm glad some people really seem to like it, but for me it's best consigned to the Island of Misfit Toys.

I've been building since day one of the Monorail. It's currently one track running around my town. The round trip takes over 7 minutes but will continue to expand as new land becomes available :) With the changes to the daily payouts I have finally gotten rid of the unwanted S pieces and am reducing my item count by replacing the short straights.

Hey @AirurandoP, is the image of your entire town still available for public viewing? I always liked checking it out.

It's still there but I haven't updated it for a while. Will have to. The signatures changed so I can't link it to my signature anymore :( but I can edit this post with a link. You're the first to mention checking it out.

I removed most the monorail items from my town a few month ago. I have a station with a small loop near my stadium but I"m considering getting rid of that as well.
