Well - I got Father Sean out of it.
Ooh! Ooh! I've been searching for the dialogue in Father Sean's quest line. There was a lot of it! When I got him, I loved his and Homer's lines. (A lifetime of imprisonment in Catholic schools has brought me to this.). I figured they'd be somewhere online because most questline dialogues are. So i didn't remember them. Now the usual sites dont have that ... If you happen to get any of them, I'd love to remember what they said. The part about the Pope was classic Homer. Wish I had it. :)annettemarc wrote:

I already finished the first batch of Sean's and Homer's dialogue. I can try to remember making screenshots of the rest, but it will be in German, as I'm playing the German version of the game. I'm afraid that won't be too helpful to you, will it?annettemarc wrote:

It's weird. I stepped outside this morning expecting to find EA holding a gun to my head, forcing me to spend donuts on golden eggs. But no. No EA outside, demanding money with menaces.
Instead, I went on Simpsons Tapped Out, saw the option to buy some golden eggs, and thought, 'Na, think I'll pass on that'.
The End.
Some are not willing to bend and accept when insulted by businesses. Luckily for businesses, others silently accept whatever they are given. EA is happy to stand behind your efforts on their behalf.
Be careful just how far you bend. ;)
Insulted.   :?
So if I enjoy the event because I'm not a demanding, whiny, entitled SOB, I'm bending and accepting?
It's a game, you need to seriously let it go before you get a complex.maxeerg wrote:

False. Wrong. Incorrect. Not true. I like helping people. If an employer gets in the way of that, I get quite cross. If any employer had asked me to take advantage of anybody, we'd still be fighting.
None of you would moan if you worked for EA
Well that makes you a good person. I would like to work for EA tho. It would be fun.MrWhiplash82 wrote:

The only German phrase I know was given to me by a Polish friend, who assured me it was a seasonal message, literal translation "Happy Seasons", used in the sense of "Happy Holidays!" So next time I was at the clinic, just before Christmas, I told my German doctor "Heilige Scheisse!"
So, no, I'd best stay away from German vocabulary altogether. ;)- EA purposely kept the odds insurmountable. They waited to the end of the event when people were getting anxiety over whether they were going to get what they wanted to not. He comes EA in and put golden eggs up for sale with doughnuts trying to act like the hero.
Nothing but a well played out money grab EA. claytonron203 wrote:

It is worse than that ... Unless you know this gold eggs for sale was in the code from the start, always intended to trigger today, right. That's why we didn't get an "update" on our screen when we signed in. This wasn't EA acting like the hero. This was even worse. This was EA pretending to act like the hero.annettemarc wrote:

And a lot of people seem to have fallen for it and bought the eggs.neuroheart wrote:

That's what I fear.
As someone wrote in another thread: EAs revenue is way up.
So many of us spent far mote money than usual on this event.
So many of us visited their town far more often than usual. (I changed my 8 hour rhythm to 4 hours in order to get all the carrots).
So many of us stayed longer per visit just to tap one more bunny.
How can EA not regard this event as a roaring success?LeuchtbojeConny wrote:

They will see it as a success no doubt unfortunately for most of us.
