I'd get bulk doughnuts, at least then you know you have the amount you want, and don't have to risk only getting 6 or 9.

Thanks for the advice hats and cats. Sadly in the uk we don't ever see iTunes cards at a sale or discount, boo to them all. A boat load works out at £70 for UK cash, may have to go for that option and then save the left overs for Christmas :-)
