There are a number of reasons for EA to consider this. It would limit the number of people that cheat with jail broken devices. Also, those of us who don't want to buy outrageously priced donuts, may consider a one time purchase like this.
I love the game, and I play a lot, so spending $25 once is something that I would do. However, given the way the game is set up now, I will never purchase donuts. Just to buy ONE premium character costs between $5 and $7.50.
