Tatum cost 190. You get him and a building.
You can then put on his skin that you have in inventory. Then he'll be able to play tap-ball. Pretty quickly he'll have a 4 hr task to get amateur bucks, but to unlock his other AB tasks you need to finish his regular quest line, and then some of his tap-ball quest line. Details on the tap-ball quest line are in the walk through.
