Dropping feds instead of tapping gifts when visiting neighbours

Although the giver doesn't get gifts from all of the feds, I believe that receiver gets gifts from all of the feds. This would mean that you would want to always tap the fed button, so all your neighbors get gifts. At least this is my interpretation of what was on tstoaddicts.
