I agree, EA really gave a lot of donuts since monorail event.
But i dont think OPs math is completely correct. 15 levels a year? I dont think so, but on the other hand weekly challenges give us 100 per event and I think they are kind of a standard now.
While the number of bonuts increased so did quantity and prices of premium items.
I am 1 year into the tsto, freemium player, max level and completed every event since Xmas 2014. I still have 40 playable non limited premium characters yet to get. Count in the limited ones + all the other decos and you get one hefty sum of bonuts. With 1k bonuts a year (optimistic) I can buy barney, mount Springfield and 3-4 other char+building combos. That still leaves tons of other stuff to get, with this pace I would need a decade.
Sorry for spelling I'm typing this from my phone.
I think my guesstimate of 15 levels per year is pretty accurate.
when the game started it was only up to level 20 and it seemed like forever being maxed out with no idea if they were ever going to add more to the game. So i am basing that guess on that we are soon to be on level 60 and there has been level ups for about 3 years. At one point we were getting level ups like it seemed every couple weeks and i don't think we have gone at least a month without a level up so it is at least 12 per year. I am sure there is a list somewhere of all the level update release dates and we can really figure out how many we get per year but i don't feel like putting all that work in.
I was just estimating and basically said we get 1000 donuts per year minimum and i don't see why you need to question my math unless you post proof to back it up.
I forgot to account for the XP collider like some other have posted but that takes into account how much cash you have to spend and how high your multiplier is. You also have to spend donuts to make donuts with that.
