EA needs to fix this ASAP

This is an issue because people are being victimized. When certain items are lost they are gone forever. Time perfecting your town is now gone. If EA could tie the password authentication to all sales and purchases. At least until this issue has been corrected. The most these night raiders could do is move things around. Make it an option for the user to activate. Some people may not care but many do. For those of us who have spent hard earned dollars and have been visited in error would welcome something, including an annoying stop gap. Anything.

Not a rant and I am not quitting, this is not the worst thing ever. But when someone comes into my town and sells what cannot be replaced it is theft. When someone comes into my town and mucks about what may take hours for me to correct it is theft. Be it the theft of my time or my actual money it is theft. I am sure EA is working on it. A bit of recognition to the importance of this issue would be appreciated by all. It would do a great deal to alleviate much of our anxiety as well.

I am fortunate. Those who have visited have left without any damage. I too having connected erroneously left immediately. I don't know how long luck will hold out.

From memory, didn't it take EA MONTHS to fix the Harp of Death. I hope they act faster on this issue. This issue is much more serious.

Exactly I want new stuff as much as anyone else but this should be their highest priority. I've been lucky not to lose anything but since it's been like a week since i could get on, for all ik someone could of been logged in which is why I haven't bought donuts because I want to be able to buy some knowing that if something happens I wouldn't lose any which atm isn't possible

Sob stories? How the heck would you feel if two years of work was undone by some bouche dag who ruins your town and sells your stuff. That's the point of this forum. If you have an issue, you post it.
Especially if it involves YOUR TOWN BEING RUINED......perhaps a filter on the brain to fingers is in order for you.

You know what the worst part about this is? EA haven't said a word about this. I feel like some transparent communication would put some people at ease.
