In usual fashion, EA will respond by mocking our Easter complaints in one of the character dialogues.
Absolutely - this was my first thought as well. This has been the unfortunate trend lately - mocking the players, particularly the Freemiums - with condescending dialogue that just isn't funny and really just reflects their distain for the average player. The first time that it occurred, I just passed it off as a bit of fun, tongue-in-cheek stuff, but it has become frequent the last few months and really just has been terrible.
I gave up on this event. The first event that I have ever given up on and I have been playing since 2012. I'm a premium player that does daily visits, and works very hard to complete tasks and this event just has been beyond anything with any event that I have done with any gaming. Imagine. A whole month of visits, zapping rabbits, trying to earn baskets, buying baskets, buying a lot of gold eggs and spending donuts and real life money, and I can't complete this event. I could have gone out today and got an iTunes card and refilled my donut stash, but I have no more energy for this at all. I just don't care any more. If Father Sean pops up again, maybe I will buy him, but I just don't care. Why waste money on a CHANCE to get a single prize. More than likely, I would spend hundreds of donuts for just more umbrellas, trees, ponds and fences with that one prize eluding me. And that should be the last thing that a gaming company should aim for - apathy from players. That doesn't bring home the bacon - nor donuts. So here's to hoping that the next event isn't like this, because I won't waste my time with that event at all. A whole month. What absolute nonsense.
