Early thoughts on the event?

I am excited for the prizes and craftables. I am also growing a little bored with the same mechanics for each event. It would be nice to get something that is completely different.

I love the theme music and the prizes look reasonably promising. I really like that the craftables seem to have an animation, it's always an added bonus.
I was so chuffed to finally get Hank Scorpio and at such a great price that at first I wasn't really paying any attention to anything else. :smiley:

The dialogue was fun, but the main quest line was disappointingly short and it was over in less than two days. After the excitement of something new in the game there's really not that much to do. Apart from opening the game every four hours, when possible, playing the mini game and sending the characters back on their four hour task that's pretty much it. Crafting is dreadfully slow, I'm barely mid way towards level 3. I wish they would've finally changed the event format to something a little different.
On the whole I'm optimistic though and at least there's plenty of time to try and design my town. :smile:

OMG I just got spoiled so hard! Great act buildings coming. Premium items I'm going to get stoners pot palace and crouching panda hidden egg roll. Awesome event and great new things for my town. I'm going to get those and highly possible the lady with her underwear and definitely the EPA head guy.

The more I see of this event (via LPN's Wiki), the more I like it. Lots of great content from so many classic episodes. Great work, EA.

I would love to see more characters from the dossier prizes. For example, more Kill Bill classic characters like the one we're getting AND more Yakuza bad guys.

I'd like to see more spinoffs like family guy does. They have many actual guest appearances. I'd definitely like to get some new simpsons who resemble someone I love.
