This event started with a lot to process. So far it seems pretty good, but also the standard event formula (which seems to have taken the place of level updates). I do like the digging aspect, which is a nice new twits. The dialogue is also funny, and the premium items are great. I also really like the new mini game, and the fact it requires a lot of in-game money. We've needed more aspirational items for a while now. On the cons, the free / crafting items for act 1 are not that great, and it is a real grind - especially for people not buying premium items. There also isnt a mutual benefit to visiting neighbors, which I really liked in past events (dropping presents, gremlins, kicking balls, etc). And while I have no desire to stop playing TSTO after all these years, I have to admit that the events have started losing some of their luster. Thoughts?

I love it! To be honest, as I was home sick I blew through the first part using most of my money and doh-nuts. Just waiting for the second part. I love that I have time to get more camels in the crafting section. (And a few more row boats, cannons etc). For those that wonder why someone would finish in 8 hours, I needed something to do and due to blurry vision due to a small operation, I couldn't read. On the bad side, I checked my friends and apparently 15 of them decided to quit and not play as of this morning. However, only three of them were very long term players. I lost more old players in that Springfield Heights cluster**** that was nothing but boring tapping.

I don't like how a bunch of content are little tiny plants and whatnot. I'd rather work to get a few large cool items instead of a numerous tiny things that you have to zoom in on to see well.

I am enjoying the event a lot. I like the prehistoric things and am trying to build a La Brea tar pits type museum. I am not sure how I will incorporate the other acts into my town. I like the excavation game a little too much. Need to stop spending donuts to get more shovels. I am always happy to get more plant types.

Great Items... but it's really hard to design with them. So far, the mechanics, even if they are in essence the same, are somehow innovative (with the excavation site). Missed opportunity to add young versions of Homer, Lenny, Carl and Company (we already have older versions of Maggie, Lisa and Bart) but I suppose they are reserving it for another event.

I don't like events like this that offer such specific items. Some of the foliage can be used in other parts of town but the main items have to be almost like and amusement park thing in my Springfield because they really have nothing to do with the town.

I'm enjoying this event. The excavation mechanic is nice and I love the dinosaurs. Now if they would have a Simpsons in space update....

The actual story is pretty lame, and WAY too short. But come on, DINOSAURS!!!!
