Easter/Whacking day thoughts

I'm kinda curious why they are coming out with an Easter update when whacking day could technically cover both.

I'm going to reserve my judgement on events until they actually exist.

I contacted EA yesterday and they said they had no info on either events! :-\

I'd say EA are keeping things very tightly locked in the security vaults these days so info doesn't get out until the update is released, been a few updates sprung upon us that we weren't expecting. Is this a good thing? Part of me says yes, part says no

There was a point where all the info about the up coming updates were leaked or found out about, then these leaks were stopped and anything that could be found out was literally found out a few hours maybe a day before it went live. EA defo play things close to their chest when it comes to updates now, which i think is a good thing as it a nice surprise when we suddenly get a new event and everyone is excited and trying to work out what we have to do :)

My thoughts exactly Neo, it's almost like when i first started playing the game last year, didn't know about the forum until later in 2013, and wasn't a regular poster on here, i used to love it when an unexpected update appeared in the game and knew nothing about it :)

Not knowing about an update is always good :) I normally miss the 1st few hours as an update always hits when im working lol

I think EA dose not want to repeat Whacking Day as an event because they want players to look forward to something totally brand new which is the Easter update. I personally can not wait in till the Easter update is released next week. I hope they add a bunny Homer Simpson skin just like the one in the reported splash screen :D

It probably would of happened last year if it wasn't so close to saint Patrick's day I completely agree the Easter bunny homer skin would be funny to see and they could always release some prizes from last year as well.

I think the wheel will be exactly how it was for valentines with something in the end to work towards

Haha me too! I always go on the forum before I get into my town to see if any updates are out so I don't mistakenly set people tasks. I've done that a few times and waiting 12 hours drives me nuts when a huge event starts!
