1-they are taking the widely reported 3 every 15 minutes thing as the truth (I think it was valid on XMAS but there was one site that said "this was an XMAS bonus type deal, it will decline") or

2-they have some sort of glitch (I've seen one forum regular report that the elf tunnel resets every time the user logs on (ie if they relog in every 4 hour they get twice what a non glitched person would get) or resynchingbetween KL and your game retriggers the spawning of three) or

3-the lower numbers are the glitch so lots of people report what they see which is the higher number (I'm getting 3 every 30 minutes as well based on a 7 hour trial when I was sleeping, a 2 hour trial later, a later 3 hour trial...basically I tracked from "your town is clear" to "your town is clear" and was always getting this rate (when I got more it was always harvesting the elf tunnel)

I feel like the elves are glitchy anyways as it seems like I needed to synchronize my town to see them especially the tunnel elves.

Eta autocorrected spelling problems

I've been seeing something unusual over the past 2 days. When I log into my town, my cannon now clears itself of the handshake upon entry, leaving a fuse. Many, many times. I synchronize every time I play and when I return throughout the day, it's ready to fire. Repeatedly. I can't seem to keep enough elves to fire away. It will just sit there with the fuse while I'm scrounging for more elves. This glitch seems to be helping me on my leaderboard which is full of some heavyweight gamers. Gotta love when the glitch benefits the player. :D
