Wasn't it that the prizes end on the 13th. And the full event on the 18th?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for you, but I've heard for months that the snow will remain until January 30th. I could be wrong though.

Honestly until I see the date change in the game, I'm assuming it'll end on the 13th. (With the assumption that if you don't update you could probably squeeze another 24 hours out). Speculation and "ea said" is fine but not something to rely on.

It ends on a Sunday? Usually events ends in a weekday so I won't be surprised jan 20 is cut off date

There are two dates in the game. The prize countdown (trophy button) ends on the 13th. The event countdown (question mark button) ends on the 18th.
Once again, this has always been the case. What those last five days will entail is anyone's guess.
