The new Junk Base can use the same multiplier items from the Mega Playscape. You can just move the Playscape out of the way and put the Junk Base there and have an instant 20% multiplier - assuming you had 20% already that is.
They can even share the items across their bonus zones when placed together, but that reduces the bonus it gives each base.
