EVENT THREAD #9: THOH 2016: Q & A AND STRATEGY THREAD: ACT II

Here we are once more guys!! It's Hallowe'en, where I go through another month of explaining why I write (or type) Hallowe'en with that little apostrophe between the two "e" letters! As usual, I'll be adding an Event Calendar in both picture and text form, as well as any Maths Breakdowns, hints and tips that come up during the event. So if you have any smart trick or treats for us (oh man, I'm so proud of that one!!), please add them here and I'll collect them on the front page!!

I'd also like to ask that you practice patience if there are any issues that come up because of the change in forum set-up. I'm sure it will all be okay and if there are any problems they will be quickly solved and arise through my own stupidity more than anything, but please bear in mind that I'm on the nay list of who likes the new set-up, and am still learning how to perform the things I used to do.

Also, because I can no longer add notes to my bookmarks, and count the Event Threads I have created, I've tried to implement a system to replace this into the thread titles. If it's not working, is confusing, or you have a better idea, please PM me, DON'T RESPOND HERE, and I'll have a look at your idea! :)

Please be aware, that for most events, after the update, the Donut Confirmation option in the game settings change, meaning you may spend donuts when you don't want to, because the option has changed and you pressed the wrong button-not something you should be penalised for. Direwolf has created a thread to show you how to rectify this issue.

My construction yard is currently level 9. I have crafted the maximum of everything I can for MAG points. The other items I already have from past events. So does anyone know how I can keep levelling up?

either wait to get the main track prizes that give mag points; or just buy the last bit to get to level 10 (mine was 20 obols short, so I just spent 'em to get level 10. Obols seem to be more plentiful this round, so 20 isn't that big).

Does anybody know if Shauna will be offered for the ones who doesn't have her? I have some donuts, and I would definately buy her.

You can store some items and craft it again. You can get more MAG points this way.

I tried it. I stored a Gargoyle Wall after I had crafted the max for points. According to the message in the Constitution Yard, there were still Mag points available, when I purchased an additional Gargoyle Wall, I did not get Mag Points. Just my experience. Hope it's helpful!

Yeah, to have that message saying "All MAG Points got" or whatever it says, you have to place all the items, even if you've already placed them all previously. There are no extra MAG Points sadly.

Hey @00becker and everybody else, I hope you are all doing well in Act II, and the lack of activity here is a good sign as to our collective progress. The Strategy Thread is still here as usual though if you need it, and is still being managed and updated (not much Act II of course, but only because there's no new information-i hope so at least anyway!!), so if you do see any incorrect information, please let me know and I'll get it changed.

One of my two jobs in life tomorrow is to rewrite @00becker's excellent post that Becker updated from her Act I post (I hope you don't mind me doing this Becker, it's no reflection on you or your effort, it's just to streamline the information and fit it into the post. If you are not comfortable, please let me know, and I'll add it as is. That also goes for anybody else who produces a post like this for any Event and my Strategy Threads in this or future events, please don't feel you cannot speak up, I'll also naturally credit you for all the information.

Sorry the edit is late, I spent all day Saturday trying to sort out my music on my laptop/iPad/iPhone (a job that was supposed to take maybe an hour or two, not 10ish!) and today I was reading Marvel Comics all day, as I'd planned to do Saturday!! Lol!! Life, eh?!

So in Summary, hope the Strategy Thread inactivity is a good sign, but if you do have questions, direct them here, not individual threads for every question you have. I know I've said that a lot this Event, but I've noticed that's happened a megaton this Event, so I'm sorry if I'm boring you. Same with this post...... why do I keep posting so late?! I always table when it's late!!!

Well this thread got buried with all those new threads that were posted, nice to see some forum activity kinda annoyed that the important threads get lost in them.

this event is very straight forward so its kinda find t write useful strategies.

Prediction:
if monster upgrades continue (act I had 1 fighter monster than 2 fighter, act II introduced 3 fighter monsters, etc.)
then act III may introduce 4 fighter monsters.

If so then id advise to invest in another fighter.

Long run someone who plays every 4 hours does not need to invest in another fighter, however once every 8 hrs+ would benefit from another fighter to keep the giant monster numbers down, with a maximum of 10 per town allowing more to spawn after that is throwing currency away.

Ex. today i woke up with 5 giant monsters that allowed 3 fighters and 1 that allowed for 2 for a total of 17 fighters needed even with CIL and blinky purchased i still had 2 monsters leftover depending on how today goes i might check on the game in 4 or 8 hours either way it might go over to the max of 10 monsters in my town.

Thats currency thrown away there.

its best to keep the giant monster count below or at 4.

Premium purchase:
Shaun is the best purchase, premium payout of 40 film + 2 obols every 4 hours? all for 90 donuts, good deal right there, the other characters (Suzanne, space mutant, count burns and boobarella) pale in comparison, Sherri and terri dont payout double premium so avoid buying, best fighter should be grave digger billy for the big 1 double 0 donuts (act III).

Long run if you want to purchase premium for this event focus on trick or treaters they produce Obols and event Currency every 4 hrs, while monsters only generate currency every 4 hours (and the same amount of currency as premium trick or treaters minus the obols)

'Small monster large spawn' were added to the game this morning - You need to tap them 4 times, which give 40 event currency. Useful if anyone is a bit behind the daily calendar amounts.
