Fastest Way to Earn Money

Cyclone4life23 wrote:
As many of you may realize, I'm sort of new to TSTO Forums. I'm not as familiar as some. However, I'm not a complete stranger to EA Forums as I come from a different part of the EA spectrum: NFSW or Need For Speed World. Many may have heard about it or even played it. In that game we use the term "grind" in the context of trying to earn a lot of money as soon as possible. My question is, what is the fastest way to earn money?

I've seen many people say they "house-farm" but is that really more efficient(both time-wise and cost-wise) than sending the characters on tasks and then waiting for them to complete?

Please share your tips. I'd love to know how you earn lots of cash

House farming can make a pretty ridiculous amount of money if you have enough houses and patience. There are several threads on here about the best house farming practices.

I started to house farm when I was new. Only had maybe 20-30 houses so it wasn't many...but I found the game wasn't as fun when I did it so I sold most of them. The biggest tip I'd say if you haven't done it already is make sure you have 100 friends and visit them every single day. Once you max out on friend points you make quite a bit each day because the amount of money you get per tap triples.
  • In my experience, house farming is the key. I have had 2 accounts now-the first one I didn't house farm and I just followed the natural progression of the game. I didn't build krustyland or squidport, but I was always lacking money and had to wait to build things. I had about 40 friends because I play once a day and do not have the time to devote to lots of friends. In March my account went down and EA couldn't get it going again. One of them suggested I make a new account. So I did. EVERYTHING is the same, I actually have less friends. The difference? I house farm. now I have tons of money and I am able to build everything right when I am prompted and have plenty to spare.

I have a smattering of all kinds of houses from super cheap to expensive.

(I am fairly new to the forum, myself! Welcome and hello!)
  • Thank you guys for all of your advice! However, I am nowhere near 100 friends! So please add me ASAP: Cyclone4life23

Please keep anymore suggestions you may have coming! I need all the help I can get! (I only have about $4 million)

  • On my level 42 account, I played for about a year just following the quests, a few friends, and always broke. When I built up my list of friends, I also put up enough houses so that my friends would have enough stuff to click on in case I needed to skip a day. Those are blue and white houses and now are spaced pretty well apart across my Springfield.

I also have a bunch of brown houses that I have used for times when neighbors needed to click often, such as events. I have remodeled and now my brown houses are in my Springfield Ghetto with other seedy establishments.

For me, blue houses were the way to go if I wasn't able to go into my town more than twice a day. If I was able to babysit, I am a huge fan of brown houses.
