Finite Stones

I'm saving the upgrades for those times when i need to max heal a char for the third fight. Saves bandaids and juice

I think it could be daily challenge too so I'm currently not upgrading anyone unless it benefits me to do so.

Upgrading fighters is also in your task book.
  • Upgrading fighters increases enemy level, which increases enemy heart. More hearts more damage, more damage equals more brass knuckles ( 4 per 1 damage to opponent done)

Thank you for this! I hadn't realised there was a connection between heart damage and knuckles won so your explanation has really helped on this one.
  • I agree Newcastlenia, for me, the event screen artwork is amazing and on a totally different level than the majority of others I've seen and the fights are new and clever to me but ......it's a tad contradictory too. There aint many games where you benefit from losing! It's not really a good life philosophy and until I saw it here, never entered my head to try and lose. If you're using this tactic, it doesn't make sense to level up (I don't do the math, re the hearts' gain) It takes some strategy though. I'm mostly miffed that two things had to be discovered by default tho' (apart from the losing tactic), 1st that fighters didn't have to be available to fight and my biggest grief, that 'retreating' is not the same in social battles. That's just not fair cos it cannot be caught up and is major to the prize line. Rant over, sorry post so long. :hunf:
  • Most of my fighters are now level 3 - so it makes it easy to take out the 4 heart felons. Just 2 attacks, and they can withstand 2 attacks. With like every fighter, I never have to use bandaids or water - save those for the social battles.

I wouldn't upgrade anyone. It's easy to lose fights when you have less hearts. Check the threads if you want more information on this strategy but basically- every time you lose you get at least 55 knuckles plus a bonus of at least 8. I've got twelve characters so I get 9 to lose and if I play it right sometimes even more. So every 4 hours that another 495 knuckles at least in addition to the 350 (plus bonus) I'm getting for the winning the 3 fights. I don't know how many more knuckles you can get for upgrading but just doing it my simple way- I'll get Old King Coal and be done crafting by the end of today. (Leaving me like, what 9? 8? days still?).
Also using this tactic I never have to used band aids or energy drink. I use that all for fighting people in my neighbors towns.
    Hope this isn't confusing!
