FOR EA PROGRAMMERS ((PLEASE READ...))

Ok LPN, I turned the volume too high to watch. Startled almost dropped my iPad...still laughing

What if they aren't broken? What if they just changed the animation? Has anyone thats complained - asked if it's on purpose?
Is it broken because you think it is........ or is it different than it was?

Apparently we both started a thread about Jesse's glitch at the same time. Oy.

I'm with you; I'm pretty bummed his task has either changed or isn't working. It's the whole reason I bought him. I hope they bring it back!!

Well you might have been right if it was the Jesse grass animation.
But however the Bart controlling mechanical ants and laughing at the bottom of the school with a remote control and there being no mechanical ants on top of said school makes no sense. And that would be the stupidest thing ever for them to do. the animation is like a video. There are separate videos in each of these two tasks. Most likely coded to what I would call an area board. One box with two separate video animations within that one task box.

In Jesse grasses task the sign is its own video/animation. Same as Bart's task the ants crawling into the roof and attacking it. Him at the bottom is the first. And the first video triggers and then there's code that triggers the second video.

Clearly there's a broken line of code that is to trigger the second bit of animation for both tasks.

This animation has two separate areas of animation. Some tasks have one area of animation affect so to speak.

So clearly EA thinks we are morons but I can tell they are just lazy.

Actually it was like an hour before...... and theres another one from a few days ago a couple pages back in the threads - This subject has been complained a bunch over the last couple months....

I did talk to an EA rep and they said he talked to special teams are whatever and it would be handled. Let's hope.

For the mechanical ants, barts task is "battle mechanical ants" he stands in front of the school "battling" (still does) the ants were in my town ... They would "burrow" into the ground, leaving behind little mounds of dirt, and appear on top of the school, swarming the roof and walls. It was hysterical.

Now, the ants vanish. Just piles of dirt where they burrowed. And bart standing in front of the school frantically battling ... nothing.

I wait ten hours to see my ants again. I willingly paid 60 donuts per ant, but not so that they would disappear from my town. If I wanted to "not see" ants, all I had to do is not buy them. ;)

If you have followed my saga of a template town in the OT - the reason I asked, is Jesse is in the template town - and has no sign, and it doesn't look like anything is missing - just him dancing.......... so maybe the animation changed - the ants IDK really - I have them stored while i'm moving

Well we clearly know part of the mechanical ants task is broken. And like I said if there are two parts of the animation in whole. Then it might be safe to say that something happened to Jesse grasses task as well.
