one of my all time favorite lines...- "Be a Pin Monkey" task reference = season 6, episode 13.
Observatory comes from season 6, episode 14.
I also love how they're adding little tidbits from the game into the newest episodes. A few weeks ago, they showed Burns walking the hounds, and just last night, Ned Flanders said he was "going for a power walk". ThatsLunch wrote:
I agree.
That arcade game was great, Final Fight with Simpsons skins. Anyone old enough to remember the NES game where Bart had to spray things purple to fool aliens in the first level?
Also, for all you youngin's go watch the first 10 seasons of the Simpsons, it's a shame that they only replay the more recent seasons. The writing and storytelling was so much better and guest voices complemented episodes rather than the episode revolving around that voice with added weirdness.
In that timespan, hands down best animated show...maybe best show period. Arrested Development is the only other show that came close.
The Simpsons in its prime was the best show ever. It's just not the same show anymore. To be honest, I've tried watching the new episodes a few times since I've started playing TSTO and I can't even finish an episode. It's not that it's terrible, but its so far below the first ten seasons that its just really disappointing to see how far the show has slid over the years.
The Simpsons Movie was decent, but if you watch 80-90 minutes worth of any random episodes from the show in its prime its much, much funnier.Toj427 wrote:

I still love it. I watch every week, and I still get excited when there's a new episode. Nothing is a wonderful as seasons 4-10, but it still tickles my fancy.
Trying not to get too off track, but someone mentioned Arrested Development earlier - how many of you all are planning to watch the new season when it premiers on Netflix in May?? I can't wait!!!- I loved simpsons road rage. Kinda like crazy taxi but simpsons style lol
- For me it's simpsons and Seinfeld, I remember the Simpsons arcade game from 15+ years ago where Bart used his slingshot and skateboard. I think Konami made it,not sure but it was a great game

Lol yeah it cost 20p ago back then. I downloaded it for the xbox too lol aahhhhh gud times - Loved the Simpsons arcade game. I recently downloaded it from Xbox Live onto my 360 (along with the old X-Men arcade game). Used to spend hours playing those two games with my buddies. Got pretty good at them too, though the 20 years between and controller vs. Arcade controls seem to have nullified them. Apparently it's not like riding a bike.
I was also a huge fan and collector of the Simpsons World of Springfield figured and plateaus that came out about ten years back. By the time the line was done I had over 100 different Simpsons characters (and more than a few variants) and probably over 30 sets. Yeah, I was a bit OCD with that line, but it was awesome. Unfortunately I sold the whole lot on EBay before purchasing and moving into a new house about 5 years back. I didn't have the room to display them and I didn't want to just leave them in boxes stored away (all those sets and figures took up a good sized hallway closet I'd wager). I'm still kicking myself for it, though.
I have the first 7 seasons on DVD, and since it's been awhile since I've viewed them I'm going to do just that. - Does anyone own any of the Simpsons Guide books? What about any books that John Schwartzwelder has written (you will be on the floor, laughing!). Fun fact: any episode that Schwartzwelder wrote has a pennants (sp?) somewhere in the episode.
We came across a book in a discount bin, called Planet Simpson that turned out to be a total gem! - Necronomicon = season 13, episode 7: Brawl in the Family
