Friends - Origin Friends, Not in Game

Hey hey…

I recently weeded my friends list and naturally came here (well, the Add Friends thread) to get userIDs to invite and hopefully get new friends.

At least 50% of the userIDs that I have pulled off the thread, that I have sent invites to and that have accepted, are in the "Origin Friends, not in game" category (shown below your friends list).

Have I encountered a glitch or are people coming to TSTO without being TSTO players?

Thanks
dale

PS: btw, are we allowed more than 100 friends now?

I’ve noticed that too. I can’t figure it out, they mention their level and how often they play. Nor can I understand why they accept you as a neighbor if they aren’t tapping.
Still limited to 100, but only the top 50 show up in the SH value ratings.
  • I'm not sure what that weird thing is, but I've had some long time neighbours as well as new additions on that list sometimes. Maybe they are playing their second/third town or another Origin game at the time or something. It went away completely at some point.

I've been experiencing this also for quite awhile now... No idea why though.

Each town has a unique name, or user id. You can’t use the same id in other games.
  • Well, whatever causes the glitch, it seems to go away eventually. Can the same game be signed in by both Facebook and Origin?
  • Mine i linked via EA as well as facebook. Few of my friends are from there.
