Game running extremely slow/glitchy

No, if anything my game is running better than before. If you haven't turned your device off in a while, maybe it's getting over-burdened. Mine does that. I have to turn it all the way off every once in a while, or let the batteries drain all the way which I do by accident. :P

You could also try uninstalling a re-installing the game.

Besides that, maybe your town is getting too big and with too much stuff for your device to support. That happens with older devices. A friend of mine was playing on a really old Kobo and his town got REALLY slow after a certain point. He had to attach memory sticks and stuff just to get it to work (or something, I don't get technology). Fortunately he was able to get a new device eventually though.

Not 100% if this is still a thing, but clear your bridges.

Are you saying to delete them? If so, why? (I'm just really curious.)
  • I have no bridges and I have a new(er) phone (Galaxy Note 4.)

I'll try restarting my phone. It could just be all the crap I have in the town. Every character/building so far. But no real place to put them...
  • Do have a bunch of pending friend request? That has been know to slow the game down. Also, have you tried unistalling and then reinstalling the TSTO application? That may do something.

What's up with people never turning their devices off anyway? You don't keep your tv on 24/7, do you?

I turn my phone off every night, just like the laptop, tv Etc. Reboot your phone every day.

I usually reset all my computer devices every week, like Monday morning.

Do you leave it off all night? Hopefully you just reboot. I don't want to wait for my phone to boot up if I have to make an emergency call at night.
  • The Note 4 (along with other Android units running Lollipop) has had these glitches recently. If you check the bugs and issues forum you'll see a lot of threads on this.

Edit: there's no solution. Just wait for an update.

Some of us still have landlines. :P I let my phone and Kobo die a couple times a week just cuz I forget to charge them.
  • use ccleaner or clean master and force close the game before running it (use the CC gadget to do it fast)
  • I force close it everytime I exit the game and kill the app, since it drains my battery.

I restarted my phone (not always an option because I am on call 24/7) and now it runs a bit faster. Much better than before, but I still have the "character sprite changing" issue. While choosing Mr. Burns next task, Burns turned into Comic Book Guy, Akira, and Kent Brockman.

Thanks for the help so far.
