Ok so i don't like leaving posts with spelling errors. I don't want to suggest I'm a lazy or stupid typer, and i don't want to disrespect people trying to read here who have a right to expect decent grammar. Lately, since my Swype free trial expired, I'm using the stock keyboard and it makes way more spelling errors. But when i go to fix them, if i edit to fix the same post 2x, the forum bot removes my post i just corrected, and says it's holding it for approval. These posts never reappear. It's making me angry! Stop removing my corrected posts, evil robot thing!Ok I'm calm again. Thanks. =)

Title is confusing but spot on with the lost posts due to editing. They never do reappear.

If a post is 'lost' once you have posted, (it says something like this post requires moderation) you can ask a mod to retrieve it for you. I had a post yesterday that went missing even without any editing.

The always helpful mod J Colombo found one for me but couldn't find a second...After asking twice I'm not going to keep bothering him. But it does feel like, well I had something I wanted to say, and now it needs approval because I correct my errors too much. Whatever though. Nothing I say is that important anyway! I just like getting it in print because good luck remembering later.

If a post is 'lost' once you have posted, (it says something like this post requires moderation) you can ask a mod to retrieve it for you. I had a post yesterday that went missing even without any editing.

Sometimes when this sort of error occurs you’ll see the “moderation” message. In other cases, your post just disappears into the ether with no message/feedback whatsoever. In either case, it’s not usually worth bugging the mods about so that they can eventually restore a post that’s probably no longer relevant to the thread in question.

I've had the same thing happen to me several times @4junk3000 my OCD wont let me leave spelling, grammar, etc mistakes behind so I feel your pain!

Same way here, I mentally edit everyone's posts and those that simply use horrible grammar or spelling and English is supposed to be their first language make me nuts.
Here's my solution to my own posts, I read them over twice before I post them at all. I will actually "select all/ copy" for longer posts. (I'm a lot more OCD then I let on, my windows notebook is full of posts I felt I needed to edit)
It isn't a perfect fix, but it does help me out. To date, I've only had one post lost in the evil forum robot void.
Either way, I know when I read your posts,as well as others that have responded to yours, if I see an error I chalk it up to "evil auto correct fucking with you".
I know yous can talks reel good!

EDIT: Lmao, only pissed is safe. Without an ed or with an ing are both censored.

I would do that if I had such a device. Easy to copy before editing than to recreate. Not easy with mobile devices, so oh well, they're lost.
