Similarly, the takedown re-downloaded ALL the original non-snow graphics AGAIN?

Adding snow to everything isn't just a couple of lines of code.

Unless there's graphical tweaks to everything again, updates should be 1/10th (or less) of the size each time.

Actually, no it's not.
It's a forum hosted & run by/on behalf of a corporation. As such, they can set the rules of usage, just like any other service (FB, Xbox & PlayStation, Apple, MS, all do the same for their online services).

I suggest you (& others) keep it civil as per the Forum Rules.
