Goblin gold

Is it just me, or are they not giving up the goblin gold very easy ? I am getting tons of wands, but not very many gold. I'm only getting 1 for each friend action, up to about 15 but not very many in my town. Granted I have alot of the prizes already, but need more for things I do want. Anyone else having this problem ? Is there a secret on getting more gold ??

    It is a bit slow, but this is still Act 1. I'm sure it'll increase as the event progresses.
    It's a shame that the friend actions are so pathetic, you don't get much and you can't give anything when you visit.
