I have some "young" friends (young in the game) and I appreciate they don't have a lot of buildings to tap. I'm not pruning them from my friends roster because I want to help them progress. I became a premium player because I didn't know about this forum and so didn't have any idea about how to play freemium or how to best advance.
It's pretty clear to me that everyone plays the game their own way: I love that about it! So I'm not about to criticize my neighbors for not having the same game agenda or game aesthetics as my own. My play is evolving because of what I learn from my neighbor's play and what I glean from forum posters. That's what makes it fun!
House farming can be both practical and interesting aesthetically. I think it's cool to have my assumptions challenged.
